I want a post canon getting together au, where Kang Yo Han and a recovered Elijah return to Korea a couple of years later with new identities, and find that Gaon now lives with/is dating/casually seeing some guy (a florist perhaps? Thats cute). Cue jealousy and shenanigans.
I just like to think of a Gaon that has moved on from all the pain and maybe once him and Judge Kang reunite, their relationship takes a certain lightness it's never had before.
And they fall in love (again) of course.
If Korea changed last names after marriage...
Still thinking about how Gaon could've rubbed it in everyone's face- including the professor's- after he got married to Yohan and changed his last name to Kang.
Secret wedding and all until one day he shows up to work and exchanges his name plate to Kang Gaon and everyone freaks.
